Pet sitting a cat, how much to pay?
My husband and I are going to be gone for 2 weeks, and we were thinking about asking our neighboor to come and check on our cat and water her every other day since we have an automatic cat feeder. If she came over every other day for 2 weeks how much would you pay her?
I’m not exactly sure but not as much as you would pay someone looking after a dog. Most likely unless the cat is really friendly he won’t come out much to see the person who is feeding him and most cats don’t need to be played with but entertain themselves. It really depends on how much you want the person to interact with the cat, but if you just want them to check in, make sure the cat is alive, and refill food and water I don’t think a lot of money is required.
